Design is a conversation made visible. Our process gives every collaborator a clear place at the table, from client and architect to maker and builder.
Regular alignment creates the confidence needed for ambitious ideas.
Make the brief a shared reference
A clear brief records the priorities that will guide decisions: how a space is used, what the project must achieve, and which constraints need to be respected. Revisit it when a new idea appears so changes can be considered against the same goals.
Separate exploration from approval
Early reviews benefit from open questions and alternatives. Later reviews need clear decisions about plans, finishes, and details. Knowing which kind of conversation is taking place helps everyone contribute at the right level.
Keep a decision record
A short written record of agreements, outstanding questions, and responsibilities makes the next stage easier to navigate. Where a change affects budget or timing, discuss that relationship before it becomes part of the design.
