Studio concept study. An exploratory design proposal, not a completed client commission. Photography illustrates the design direction.

A garden as the centre

The study explores a plan in which shared rooms open toward a planted courtyard while bedrooms sit along a quieter edge. The threshold between inside and outside becomes useful living space, with room to sit, read, and gather.

Privacy without isolation

Offset openings and planted boundaries suggest ways to bring daylight into the home without exposing every room to neighbouring views.

Taking the idea forward

A live brief would begin with a measured survey, a conversation about use and budget, and a review of the site’s opportunities and constraints. These findings would guide the next round of drawings, material samples, and specialist input.
