Studio concept study. An exploratory design proposal, not a completed client commission. Photography illustrates the design direction.
Planning around the view
A continuous living space is balanced by smaller places to withdraw. The concept uses changes in ceiling height and depth of opening to distinguish everyday activities without dividing the plan into isolated rooms.
A measured material palette
Timber, pale mineral surfaces, and recessed storage provide a restrained starting point. Samples would be reviewed against orientation and maintenance needs before specification.
Taking the idea forward
A live brief would begin with a measured survey, a conversation about use and budget, and a review of the site’s opportunities and constraints. These findings would guide the next round of drawings, material samples, and specialist input.
