A shared courtyard gives guests somewhere to pause without remaining in their room. The concept combines sheltered seating, a communal table, and a simple route to the private accommodation.
A sense of belonging
Natural textures and varied scales of seating make the common spaces feel approachable. Durable finishes and straightforward housekeeping access form part of the design brief.
Taking the idea forward
A live brief would begin with a measured survey, a conversation about use and budget, and a review of the site’s opportunities and constraints. These findings would guide the next round of drawings, material samples, and specialist input.
